Loftis Robbins, Inc. is a growing manufacturer of railroad, construction and heavy equipment parts and solutions. Our company is located 5 miles south of Oneonta, AL. We are currently hiring for the following positions:
Welders:
Experienced welders/fitters. Must be able to read blueprints, be certified on 2G and 3G welding, operate a forklift, maintain a clean safety record, and have a strong work ethic. We are willing to assist individuals in obtaining welding certifications if needed.
Machinist:
Minimum 5+ years’ experience required. Must be proficient in reading blueprints of fabricated weldments and machined parts. Ability to program and run CNC mills and lathes is required. Good knowledge of manual machine centers is also required. Company is willing to invest time and training to help individuals excel in position.
Estimator/Purchasing:
Must be proficient in reading blueprints of fabricated weldments and machined parts. Ability to work with material suppliers, a good understanding of steel specifications, and familiar with “Material Resource Planning System” to route and cost jobs for shop. Ability to learn business, communicate clearly internally and externally and track inventory. Teamwork is critical. Minimum 5+ years’ experience preferred.
